EBI-Notify V3.0

The latest version of EBI-Notify has been released, here are the new features.

Finding and organising messages

– Full-text search in the toolbar filters the current category as you type.

– An “Unread only” toggle in the filter sheet hides messages you’ve read.

– Long-press a message to pin it. Pinned messages stay in a group at the top of the list across all filters.

– Long-press also offers Mark as Unread, Copy, and Share.

– Long messages truncate to 6 lines with a “Show more” link.

– Empty states explain why the list is empty and offer a one-tap recovery action (Clear search, Reset filters, Pull to refresh).

– Pull down on the list to refresh manually.

Real-time delivery and connectivity

– An offline banner appears when the device loses connectivity and disappears on reconnect.

– If a notification arrives for a category you aren’t viewing, a small in-app banner slides in with a preview. Tap to jump to that category.

Push notifications

– The system notification carries a “Mark as read” action, usable from the lock screen or notification shade.

Images

– The full-screen viewer has Save to Photos and Share actions.

– Tap once to hide the toolbar for a clean view, tap again to bring it back.

Location filtering

– A search box appears when the locations list is long.

– One-tap Select All and Select None actions.

– Toggling a location updates the screen immediately and syncs in the background.

History

– Scroll near the bottom of a category to load older messages automatically.

Login and account

– A show/hide password toggle.

– Last-used domain and username are remembered across sign-out.

– Sign Out asks for confirmation and explains that local message history will be cleared.

Look and feel

– New design with full dark-mode support.

– The active category tab auto-scrolls to the centre of the strip. Re-tap it to jump the list to the top.

About dialog

– A Send Feedback button opens the mail client pre-addressed to support.

– Branded layout showing app logo, version, company, domain, and user.
